INSURANCE
It is important
for a Risk Manager to compare the General
Liability coverage that is being offered by the
contractor.
The purpose of insurance is to protect the
contractor, the contractor’s employees, and the
client from financial risk and liability. This
level of protection can be compromised if you
are not aware of the policies and/or
underwriter’s stability. You should ask
yourself: Is the Carrier admitted and licensed
in the State of California? Does the policy
contain a sunset clause? What exclusions if any
are in effect? Is the policy written in
Occurrence form or Claims Made? Is the carrier
rated by AM Best? If yes, what is the rating?
And, what is the policyholder surplus?
We understand the importance of providing the
best possible coverage to our clients. We also
have the ability to meet your special
requirements, upon request, if you would like
additional coverage, special provisions, named
additionally insured, waivers of subrogation or
other conditions.
Below is information on our basic policies that
will cover your project. We will be happy to
provide you with additional coverage or meet
your special requirements on a per job basis if
requested. All insurance companies are licensed
and admitted in California.
